Mama's Fish House - Maui's Most Romantic Restaurant

Mama's Fish House is one of Maui's best restaurants and is a great place to take your special someone for that "last Maui meal". It will help to seal all of the great memories and is not to be missed. Personally I recommend at a table for two, order wine or cocktails unless you don't drink, three appetizers, split an entree', dessert and an after dinner drink (I like the "Chip Shot"). Sit out on the beach after dinner and reminisce. Make reservations. Very expensive.

Roy's Kahana Bar and Grill - "A Maui Restaurant must do" Delicious and bustling with energy!

Roy's Kahana Bar and Grill is another of Maui's best restaurants. A great mid trip dinner. Start with a cocktail from Shawn at the bar while your table is prepared. Again, I recommend the same type of ordering as with Mama's, you want to taste and enjoy...Not get "filled up" Do make sure to order the chocolate souffle' for dessert, even if you're on a diet! Stop at Gallery Hawaii downstairs if you arrive too early or for an after dinner stroll. Make reservations!

Honokowai Okazuya Deli - Best Maui Plate lunch

Okazuya Deli has fast service, even when busy as usual. They're friendly and have simply outstanding food! My favorite is the Lemon Caper Mahi Mahi with 1 scoop rice and 1 scoop mac salad. The grilled veggies are great too.

Casanova - Upcountry Maui's fine Italian Restaurant

Casanova is an upcountry hotspot. You may as well show up early on Wednesday and start with a delicious Italian meal before the ladies night dance crowd pops in around 9pm Steven and Stephano are running an excellent business here!

Longhi's - Lahaina breakfast

Longhi's is a great spot right on Front Street in Lahaina across from the ocean and busy with morning shoppers and bargain hunters. The quiche is great and when you order it is always "the last piece" so get there early and enjoy your Lahaina day. The fresh juice, French toast, and Pancakes, and potatoes are all excellent.

Maui Restaurant With a view - Plantation House

The Plantation House at Kapalua's Plantation Golf course has a great view and wonderful food. I enjoy breakfast here and they have the best bloody mary around. If you're an eggs Benedict fan, try some of the variations, especially the Crab cake Benedict. Don't set up a T-time too close to breakfast though.

Sensei will at least match, but will most likely blow away your local sushi bar. You can't beat the freshness of the fish. Thursday and Friday nights have the added benefit of free entertainment Karaoke style. It's always fun and delicious.

Fish sandwich - Paia Fish Market - 100 Hana Hwy Paia , HI 96779 808/579-8030. Stop by if you're in the mood for an excellent fish sandwich.

Dining in Hana

Maui Tourist Trap Restaurant - Cheeseburger in Paradise - Lahaina - Great view, great location and usually a musician to entertain. The burger/fries are average at best. Sorry I'm not impressed!
